A growing library of third party integration tools that enable scientists to build on their use of TERANODE Design Suite within the production environment. Carefully reviewed and tested by the Teranode Development Team, Open Source tools include SOFT, Affymetrix and MAGEML importers.*

Affymetrix CHP Importer
Data output from Affymetrix analysis software can be easily integrated into models with the Affymetrix CHP Importer. Users can directly import and use processed data from Affymetrix probe arrays.

MAGEML Importer
Microarray Gene Expression Markup Language (MAGEML) is a language to describe and communicate information about microarray-based experiments. With the MAGEML Importer, users can access data from public repositories such as EBI's ArrayExpress, a public repository for microarray. SOFT Importer Simple Omnibus Format in Text (SOFT) is a data format used by NCBI's Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO). With the SOFT importer, users can download gene expression and hybridization array data from GEO and visualize them in the context of biological pathways. KEGG Integration
TERANODE's KEGG Integration capabilities give users access to more than 18,000 public pathway models; visualization and annotation capabilities using KEGG models; and hyperlinks to KEGG and other databases. Purchased as an add-on to TDS or contact sales@teranode.com.

MATLAB Integration
TERANODE's MATLAB Integration capabilities allow the automatic generation and export of MATLAB code for simulations, enabling the easy integration of custom MATLAB Libraries and simplified management and reuse. Included with TDS or contact sales@teranode.com.

SBML Integration
TERANODE's SBML Integration enables model sharing with a growing number of applications and repositories. TERANODE supports reading and writing SBML Level 2 models. Included with TDS or contact sales@teranode.com.

*Follow these instructions to use a downloaded importer:

• Extract the .jar file from the zip file to your (Installation Directory)\Teranode\WEB-INF\lib\plugins directory
  
• Open a biological model and right-click the node to which you want to import the data
  
• Click Add, then Importer/Exporter, and choose the importer you have downloaded
  
• Click Import on the added importer property
  
• Direct TDS to the appropriate file to import
  

TDS users with the TERANODE SDK installed can also create their own tool plugins with the TERANODE Integration products.
